Before you go
Kiteloop respects all differences: we work on the principle of non-discrimination, regardless of nationality, religion and race, sexual or political orientation. Our guests are coming from all over the world, therefore there is a high possibility that you will encounter or be in the same group with people of different origin, nationality and views. Everyone who loves active lifestyle and respects nature is welcome. Having this in mind, we call upon our guests to respect other guests and their views, to respect local traditions and historical, cultural and natural heritage.
Since you are about to begin your trip very soon, make sure you have acquired all the necessary information regarding the trip you are taking. This includes:
- Checking expiration date on your passport
- Contacting Montenegro Embassy or consulate to check whether you require a visa for Montenegro or other countries you will be visiting
- Acquiring plane tickets or other means of transport to Montenegro

Emergency phone number: +382 69 69 04 01 / e-mail: email@example.com
You are welcome to leave Kiteloop office number and email with your family and friends for safety. If for some reason you cannot contact them, talk to your instructors or guides and we will make sure you can contact them and assure them of your safety (and what a great experience you are having).
Please check the validation date of your passport. It is best to have a copy of the front page (with your photo and passport number) with you kept in a separate location from your passport, in case your passport gets lost or stolen.
Make inquires whether a visa is needed for any of the countries you plan to visit. You, as a traveller, are obliged to obtain, on his/her own, a visa for the country in question. Kiteloop shall not be held responsible for the decisions made by custom authorities, police authorities or any other state authority banning you from entering a certain country.
Invoice will be sent to you by email after you had paid for the trip. If for any reason you haven’t received your invoice until now, please contact us.
Please review your airline tickets carefully and reconfirm your international flights 72 hours in advance. Please note that you should check-in for your international flights 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
The official currency in Montenegro is Euro (EUR) and all prices are quoted in Euro. We recommend that you exchange some money into Euros before you come or at the airport when you arrive. ATM machines will be accessible, but only in cities. For spending money (meals, guide tips, snacks and beverages) we suggest an allowance of 200€-300€ per person for holidays.
To get a feeling here are some examples of local costs:
- Coffee/tea (restaurant): 2 €

Many airlines impose a maximum weight limit of 23 kg. Please see your airline’s website for luggage weight and size restrictions. For your comfort we recommend you travel as light as possible. One main piece, preferably a soft lockable bag for easy handling, a backpack or a hold-all would be most suitable. Daypack – 15 to 20 litres is sufficient.
General items you will need are: comfortable and breathable clothes, changeable and washable (cotton shirts and t-shirts), sportswear (shorts or tights), comfortable, lightweight shoes and socks for outdoor sports activities, sun hat, sunglasses, lightweight raincoat and a set of warm clothes (sweatshirt or track suit) because evenings can be chilly near the sea. Don’t forget comfortable sleepwear and personal hygiene items.

Next to your usual clothing, you should consider bringing along some other items, which will make your activities more enjoyable.
