We got lucky. Two nights ago, on 14.July, we had a chance to sit on the beach entirely lit by supermoon.
A supermoon is the largest apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth. It happens when the Moon is closest to Earth on its orbit and, at the same time, it is in its full moon phase.
For all of you kiteboarding and surfing at Velika plaža or Ada Bojana supermoon means that the waves will be bigger in size. It happens because tidal force at this time is somewhat stronger pulling more water.
The next supermoon will be on 10.August and we are looking forward to do some kiteboarding night shots. Until then check out supermoon gallery.
